About this journal
The RikoStyle Journal answers the questions buyers ask before they order chairs and tables for restaurants, hotels, events and care homes, with numbers and sources.
Who publishes it
The journal is published by Riko Style, a solid-wood chair and table factory in Troyan, Bulgaria. The company started in 1992 as a family workshop (source). Articles are written by Martin Yovchevski, CEO of Riko Style, who runs sales and export.
We make and sell chairs and tables, so most articles end with a section called Where RikoStyle fits, which shows our own models. Everything above that section is meant to be useful whoever you buy from.
How we choose sources
- Every general rule has a source, numbered in the text and listed at the end of the article, with its author and date where they are given.
- We read every source before we cite it, not only its title in a search result.
- We prefer primary sources: EU law on EUR-Lex, standards bodies, health authorities and published research. When we quote a supplier or a retailer, we say so.
- When sources disagree, we show both and say which one we follow.
- Articles are not sponsored. No other company has paid for an article or a link.
How we count our own models
Our own numbers come from the dimensions published on each model's page on rikostyle.com. We use the median, the middle model, so one unusual chair does not move the result. The method and the full data are on average chair dimensions in cm, with a CSV download.
We do not publish prices, lead times, minimum orders or certificates in articles unless the factory has confirmed them for that purpose. Ask us for a written quote instead.
Updates and corrections
Each article shows the month it was last updated. We change that date only when the content changes, not when we fix a typo. If you find a mistake, write to [email protected] and we will correct it and list it here.
| Date | Article | What changed |
|---|---|---|
| 5 November 2026 | Restaurant chair and table dimensions | Correction. A column headed "Seat width" showed the width of the whole chair. It is now headed "Overall width". The numbers did not change. |
| 5 November 2026 | EUDR and wooden furniture | Update. Added the new EUDR product list, Delegated Regulation (EU) 2026/2102, and confirmed that the 30 December 2026 date has not moved. |
| 5 November 2026 | Digital product passport for furniture | Update. Added the European Commission's own press release on the 2025–2030 working plan as a primary source. |
| 5 November 2026 | Cloud Dancer white chairs | Update. Added Pantone's own Colour of the Year page as a primary source. |
Languages
Articles are written in English. The flags at the top of each page open a machine translation by Google Translate, so check important numbers against the English page.
